Refund policy: 
A non-refundable deposit of $100 is required to hold your place in the certification course. 
Class fee (less $100 non-refundable deposit) is refundable up to 7 days prior to start day of class.
After 7 day cut off,  class monies will not be refunded but consideration will be given to transfer remaining class fees to a future certification course.

Introduction to Herbal Healing

Come join us in this wonderful introduction class as we reawaken to the magical uses of medicinal herbs and begin our journey back to our herbal roots. We will be using all of our senses as we taste, smell, touch and feel the power of these ancient plants. Students will learn:

• Herbal Preparations: infusion , decoction, syrup, oil, salve and more

Join us in this hands on class as we learn to make wonderful healing oils, salves, lip balms etc. We will learn how to combine herbs to create a soothing massage or bath oil or a healing medicinal oil. Then we learn how to turn those oils into perfect balms, salves and liniments. Each student makes and takes home their own herbal salves or oil.

SPIRIT OF HERBS
HERBS FOR EMOTIONAL & SPIRITUAL HEALING

Let Kathleen take you on a journey to the Spirit of Herbs.  You will explore some of ceremonies used by indigenous people all around the world and learn the herbs that have been traditionally used for both spiritual and emotional healing.

COURSE OUTLINE:

• Experience a traditional kava ceremony
• Feel the heartbeat of the earth through Native American drumming as we walk you through the ancient tradition of a Native American smudging and sacred pipe circle
• Take a Shamanic journey through meditation to discover your plant spirit and receive your healing message
• Learn how to make dream pillows and dream catchers and why they are used in spiritual healing
• You will leave this workshop with tools necessary to help heal your mind, body and spirit

Advanced Class
THE ART OF HERBAL FORMULATING

What herbs can I mix together?  How much of each herb do I use?  When I have many herbs to choose from, how do I know which one to use? 

Like creating a beautiful piece of art, making that perfect herbal formulation in just the right amounts is a time honored art.  In this 2-day fun hands-on class, students will learn how to create herbal formulas specific to each client's unique physiology. Students learn how much of each herb to use and when and how to use it. We will be conducting two actual herbal consultations using student volunteers from this class.

This is a very empowering class with plenty of hands on time.  Students will create their formula, blend their formula and present it to their client(s).  You will leave this class with the confidence to create beautiful formulas for yourself, your friends and your family.  Together we can heal the world, one client at a time.

Note: The consultations we do during this class are valued at $200.00 each.  To be considered, you must be registered in this class and paid in full.  Make your request via email and we will send you complete intake forms which you must fill out and return at least 2 weeks prior to class.  In the event that we have more than 2 requests, Kathleen will decide which 2 are most appropriate for this class and will contact you herself.  You must be willing to be open and honest as we ask questions delving into not only your physical health but your emotional, spiritual and mental health, as well as your family and business life etc.  The more we understand your complete background, the better we can all formulate for you.

This class is limited to 15 students and will be filled on first come first served basis.
